Sr. Electron.js Developer

Location: Indianapolis, IN (Onsite 2/3 days per week)
- Project Details:
- These developers will be working together to create an app that would be a GUI to run jobs on a local server.
- Ideally the 1st release would take place this year with development starting immediately after shutdown (July 8th).
- Position Requirements:
- Seasoned developer with strong JavaScript.
- Experience with Electron Development (Must be able to hit the ground running, no time to train them.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance desktop applications using Electron.js, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices for software development.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products.
Develop and execute tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the application.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for new and existing applications, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Skills & Experience
7+ years of professional software development experience with 2+ years focused on Electron.js.
Highly proficient with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
