Key Responsibilities:

Understand Business Needs: Work closely with business units to grasp the Bank’s strategies, processes, and roadmaps. Gain deep knowledge of business and IT operations.

Deliver Quality Products: Understand end-user needs, develop detailed requirements, and support technical designs and process improvements.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Elicit, analyze, and validate business/user requirements. Translate needs into functional specifications.

Financial & Accounting Focus: Strong understanding of accounting and financial management concepts. Workday experience is a must.

Documentation & Analysis:
-
Document current state, create future-state artifacts, and translate requirements into functional specs.
-
Write detailed specifications, data mappings, release notes, and user guides.
-
Perform complex business analysis via JAD sessions with stakeholders.
-

System & Process Design:
-
Assist in designing mockups for new functionality.
-
Develop data mapping plans for conversions/migrations.
-
Suggest software and process improvements.
-

Agile & Waterfall Delivery:
-
Write INVEST-compliant user stories.
-
Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
-

Tools & Systems:
-
Workday (core accounting, wire transfers, reconciliations, L&D).
-
Visio, Lucidchart, Azure DevOps (epics, features, stories).
-
Query writing for data analysis and reporting.
-

SDLC & Project Management:
-
Experience with Waterfall and Scrum methodologies.
-
Familiarity with flowcharting, data modeling, and UI design tools.

Collaboration & Troubleshooting:
-
Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and Project Managers.

Identify and resolve business systems issues.
-
Provide guidance to less experienced team members.

Compliance & Quality:

Adhere to Bank policies, standards, and IT best practices.
-
Ensure applications meet business requirements with a focus on quality.

Must-Have Skills:
-
Strong BSA Experience: 5+ years in financial services/banking, with expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, and functional specs.

Accounting & Financial Management: Deep understanding of core concepts (critical).
-
Workday Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Workday for accounting, reconciliations, and integrations.

Technical & Analytical Skills:
-
API interactions, system mappings, and integrations.
-
Ability to extract functional requirements and collaborate with architects.`
