DSCSA (Drug Supply Chain Security Act) project. This is the number 1 project in all of Cardinal and has a go-live in November 2024. The client is looking for the following;
Core Responsibilities:
- Splunk Installation and Configuration:
- Installing, configuring, and upgrading Splunk software components.
- Setting up indexers, search heads, forwarders, and deployment servers.
- Optimizing Splunk performance and resource utilization.
- Data Ingestion and Indexing:
- Designing and implementing data ingestion strategies.
- Configuring data inputs from various sources (logs, metrics, network data).
- Indexing data efficiently for fast search and analysis.
- Search Development and Reporting:
- Developing and maintaining Splunk searches, reports, and dashboards.
- Creating visualizations to represent data effectively.
- Providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Performance Tuning:
- Identifying and resolving Splunk performance bottlenecks.
- Optimizing search queries and index configurations.
- Incident Response and Troubleshooting:
- Investigating and resolving Splunk-related issues.
- Providing technical support to end-users.
Additional Responsibilities (Depending on Organization):
- Integration with Other Tools:
- Integrating Splunk with other IT tools and systems (e.g., SIEM, IT Service Management).
- Automation:
- Automating Splunk tasks using scripting or development languages.
- Security:
- Implementing security best practices for Splunk environments.
- Capacity Planning:
- Forecasting Splunk infrastructure requirements.
- Data Modeling:
- Designing data models for efficient search and analysis.
