Senior Manager – Data Analyst / Data Strategist

Essential Duties:
– Craft and execute data strategies in harmony with the organizational goals.
– Dive into complex data sets to unearth insights and proposals that propel business advancement.
– Engage with product managers, executive teams, and data engineers to delineate and prioritize data-centric strategic plans.
– Apply statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and causal analysis techniques to address and resolve business predicaments.
– Oversee A/B testing, experimentation, and data verification to refine product efficacy.
– Work hand in hand with various departments to improve procedures for data collection, integration, and provision.
– Deliver data analysis results through engaging narratives and visualizations to drive decision-making at every organizational level.
– Maintain the utmost level of data quality, uphold governance standards, and comply with relevant industry regulations.
Necessary Experience and Skills:
– A Minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
– At least 5 years specializing in data analytics, data science, or a data-centric product strategy role.
– Proficient in SQL, Python, and R for sophisticated data analysis and modeling tasks.
– Adept in statistical techniques, including but not limited to regression, hypothesis testing, and constructing predictive models.
– Proven record with A/B testing methodologies, experimentation, and assessing impacts.
– Competent in transforming complex business queries into analytical projects with actionable outcomes.
– Familiarity with substantial data sets and cutting-edge data processing systems such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
– Solid grasp of the principles underpinning data governance, ethical data handling, and strategic data applications.
– Stellar communication capabilities, with a talent for explaining intricate technical data to a non-specialist audience.
Desirable Qualifications:
– Background in dynamic, data-centric workplaces like the Financial or Investment banking sector.
– Some acquaintance with the basics of machine learning and history of teamwork with data science departments.
– Experience with data visualization platforms, including Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
– Knowledgeable in analytics tools employed for product analysis such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics.
