This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge cloud-ready, distributed micro services architecture while collaborating with top-tier engineers and architects.

Job Details:

• Job Title: Software Engineer
• Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI (Onsite)
• Tax Terms: C2C
• Duration: 10+ Months
• End-Client: Uline
• Tier: Working with Implementation Partner
• Work Authorization: No GCEAD/H4EAD

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support Java components shared across multiple microservices, ensuring a resilient, cloud-ready architecture.
• Work with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration, and Spring Data to develop and maintain distributed microservices.
• Improve observability with tools like DynaTrace, Nagios, Prometheus, and Elastic Stack for thousands of microservices.
• Enhance and support CI/CD pipeline with Azure DevOps, Git, Maven, Tekton, Argo CD, and more.
• Collaborate with architects to evaluate and introduce new technologies into the existing architecture.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• 3+ years working with Java Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, etc.).
• Experience in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-based architectures.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipeline development, GitOps principles, and related technologies (Azure DevOps, Maven, Argo CD, SonarQube, etc.).
• A solid understanding of Microservices Architecture and Domain-Driven Design.
