About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to join our team supporting TCS/Humana in the Health Insurance domain. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions within the Snowflake cloud data platform. You will be responsible for optimizing data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and driving performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data solutions using Snowflake.

• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion and transformation.

• Perform data modeling and schema design within Snowflake.

• Optimize SQL queries and Snowflake performance for large datasets.

• Implement and maintain data governance and security best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.

• Monitor and maintain data warehouse performance and reliability.

• Automate data pipelines and workflows.

• Implement data quality checks and validation processes.

Essential Skills:

• Expertise in Snowflake cloud data platform.

• Strong SQL development skills.

• Experience with data warehousing concepts and principles.

• Proficient in ETL/ELT processes and tools.

• Understanding of cloud data platforms and architectures.

• Solid understanding of data modeling techniques.

• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of data queries.

• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell).

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).

• Experience with healthcare data and HIPAA compliance.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
