JOB DISCRIPTION :
Business Analyst supporting the Shadow IT project. Works directly with the cross functional teams including Risk, IT, and Business Units. Demonstrates leading practices in determining participants, gathering techniques, documentation techniques, modeling and analysis techniques, and leverage appropriate tools for requirements gathering. Conducts and analyzes preliminary business and information technology processes. Participates in the design and creation of the business solution and completion of the technical design on small and moderate projects. Works with the project team to identify areas of potential business risk, exhibiting the ability to effectively resolve project conflicts. Demonstrates leading practices in documenting and prioritizing requirements with the project team members and project stakeholders. With minimal direction, able to work identified Shadow IT instances with key stakeholders identified. Lead triage meetings and document outcomes and effectively communicate both written and verbal. Will frequently present to audience of project team and some middle management. Demonstrates an understanding of technical issues and solutions in relation to current and future business environments. Shows an understanding of potential business risks and assists with identification of those risks, exhibiting the ability to effectively resolve project conflicts. Occasionally provides direction and influence on client decisions towards project approach, implementation, and requirements. CCBA or CBAP certified. Required technical skillset to manage manual information flows to key processes for decision-making for managing risks. Candidate should possess a good understanding of banking information technology systems with a business information background in complex financial institutions. Understanding of financial acumen and IT needs. Experience in large banking environments with various stakeholders. Critical thinker with good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multi-task, perform basic data analysis and analytics. Advanced Excel skills.
