Job Title: ServiceNow Architect (Telecom Domain, TSM/OMT/CPQ)

Location: Remote

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect with deep expertise in the Telecommunications domain and hands-on experience with ServiceNow Telecommunications Service Management (TSM), Order Management for Telecommunications (OMT), and Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ). The ideal candidate will drive architecture and design decisions for telecom-specific ServiceNow implementations, ensuring scalable, high-performing solutions that align with both technical and business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between technology and business needs, leading digital transformation initiatives within the telecom sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Architecture & Design:

o Lead the architectural design and development of ServiceNow solutions focused on Telecommunications Service Management (TSM), Order Management for Telecommunications (OMT), and Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ).

o Develop scalable and sustainable architecture strategies that align with business requirements and ensure long-term platform success.

o Define and design the integration architecture between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP) within the telecom environment.

• Telecommunications Domain Expertise:

o Leverage deep knowledge of the telecommunications industry, including network services, order management, customer support, and billing systems, to drive effective ServiceNow implementations.

o Work closely with business stakeholders to translate complex telecom-specific needs into ServiceNow solutions, optimizing business processes and service delivery.

• ServiceNow Expertise:

o Serve as the primary ServiceNow subject matter expert (SME), leading the design, configuration, and implementation of TSM, OMT, and CPQ modules.

o Ensure that the ServiceNow platform aligns with industry best practices, is properly governed, and adheres to security and compliance requirements.

o Collaborate with development teams to create high-quality, customized ServiceNow applications that meet business requirements.

• Technical Leadership:

o Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and best practices.

o Oversee the development of solution blueprints, technical specifications, and documentation for ServiceNow implementations.

o Mentor junior architects and technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

• Integration & Optimization:

o Design and implement robust integration solutions that connect ServiceNow with other key systems within the telecom environment, such as OSS/BSS, CRM, and billing systems.

o Lead optimization efforts to improve platform performance, scalability, and user experience, ensuring that the ServiceNow platform supports telecom-specific use cases.

• Stakeholder Management:

o Engage with business and technical stakeholders to understand their strategic goals and operational challenges, translating these into actionable architectural roadmaps.

o Present architecture designs and technical strategies to senior management, ensuring buy-in and alignment with business priorities.

o Act as a trusted advisor to both technical and business teams, guiding decision-making and ensuring successful project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Experience:

o 10+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Architect or Senior Developer, with a strong focus on the Telecommunications domain.

o Proven experience with ServiceNow modules including TSM, OMT, and CPQ, with a successful track record of implementing large-scale telecom solutions.

o In-depth knowledge of telecom-specific processes, including order management, service management, network operations, and billing.

• Skills & Competencies:

o Strong proficiency in ServiceNow platform architecture, including design, configuration, and integration with external systems.

o Deep understanding of telecommunications industry challenges, standards, and best practices.

o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to design innovative and scalable solutions.

o Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.

o Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

o Strong Expertise on ServiceNow architecture and data model

o Experienced with Table and field structures

o Experienced with Business rules, workflows, and approvals

o Experienced with Scripting (JavaScript, Groovy, etc.)

o Experienced with Integration with external systems (REST, SOAP, etc.)

• Information Architecture Skills:

o Strong understanding of information architecture principles, including,Taxonomy and ontology, Content modeling and metadata and User experience (UX) & user interface (UI) design.

o Experience with information architecture tools and techniques, including: Creating and managing taxonomie
