Role: Senior Salesforce Developer

Location: San Francisco, CA/ Denver, CO

Job Description:

Design and implement custom solutions in Salesforce using Force.com, Visualforce, APEX, Lightning Web Components, and APIs.
Translate business requirements into well-architected Salesforce solutions that align with best practices and meet the business needs.
Write APEX classes, triggers, and Visualforce pages to customize Salesforce functionality and enhance business processes.
Develop custom components and integrations using Lightning Web Components to improve the user interface and experience.
System Integration:
Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs and middleware tools, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality between systems.
Leverage Salesforce Web Services and REST/SOAP APIs for system-to-system communication.
Performance & Security Optimization:
Continuously monitor and optimize Salesforce applications for performance, security, and data integrity.
Implement best practices in code quality and performance to improve Salesforce application speed, scalability, and user satisfaction.
Ensure the security of data and systems by adhering to Salesforce security guidelines and protocols.
Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:
Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve any problems related to Salesforce applications and integrations.
Provide timely resolution for production issues post-go-live, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with business systems analysts to clarify functional and technical requirements for customizations and integrations.
Regularly communicate progress and blockers in Salesforce projects to the project team to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
Collaborate with the DevOps team to plan, coordinate, and execute deployments to production environments.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement:
Write and maintain technical documentation for all projects and custom processes to ensure knowledge transfer and clarity for future maintenance.
Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Identify opportunities to optimize and improve existing Salesforce applications, enhancing both the performance and the user experience.

Mandatory Skill Sets & Qualifications:

Experience:
10+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, with a strong focus on Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
5+ years of experience defining system strategies and designing, prototyping, testing, and implementing business solutions on the Salesforce platform.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) and SOSL (Salesforce Object Search Language) for efficient data queries.
Deep experience integrating Salesforce with external systems and APIs (using Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP web services).
Ability to estimate effort, scope, and risks accurately for tasks and deliverables in Salesforce projects.
Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud for building and managing customer-facing portals.
Certifications:
Salesforce App Builder and Salesforce Platform Developer I certifications are mandatory.
Agile Methodology:
Proven experience working in Agile development environments (preferably with Scrum or Kanban methodologies).
Ability to work effectively in an iterative development process, delivering high-quality solutions in short cycles.
