Job Title: Senior PLM Windchill Developer
Location: Remote with milestone-based travel to San Francisco, CA or Houston, TX

Position Overview:

Birlasoft is seeking a Senior PLM Windchill Developer who excels in interacting with both customers and peers. The role involves involvement in all phases of project delivery, from analyzing client requirements to implementing, customizing, and reporting on solutions for high-profile clients in the media and technology domain. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in Windchill development, strong communication skills, and a willingness to support clients while leveraging strong technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Software Development & Maintenance: Develop and maintain solutions using Java and enterprise system APIs.

·       Project Lifecycle Engagement: Actively participate in all stages of the implementation project, from development through testing and deployment.

·       Client Interaction & Support: Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing ongoing support during the entire project lifecycle.

·       Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with team members to maximize project efficiency and share expertise.

·       Documentation: Document methods, processes, and lessons learned throughout the project.

Experience and Required Skills:

·       Industry Experience: Prior experience in the Media and Technology sectors is a major plus.

·       Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in the development industry.

·       Technical Expertise:

o   Proficiency in Java programming, specifically with Windchill API.

o   Web-based development experience (JSP, Javascript, MVC, Spring) is highly preferred.

o   Experience with ERP integrations is preferred.

o   In-depth knowledge of object-oriented methodologies and API development.

·       Database Skills: Experience with databases such as Oracle or SQL Server is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

·       Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.

·       Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for client interaction and collaboration with internal teams.

Additional Information:

·       Travel Requirements: This is a remote position; however, the candidate should be open to milestone-based travel to San Francisco, CA, or Houston, TX for client engagements and project milestones.
