Senior Oracle Apps DBA || Remote || No OPT/GCEAD
Working with an Implementation Partner (IT Convergence)
Sound Knowledge of EBS Upgrade, Implementation, Migration, patching, and database upgrades.
Expertise in EBS and Non-EBS Database cloning/Patching.
Knowledge of Oracle backup and recovery scenarios
Experience and knowledge in migrating code, database changes, and Oracle quarterly patch installs
Proficient in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and OEM.
PCP Setup and troubleshooting
Proficient in analysis and application of GI Patchset, OJVM PSU patches (APPS and DB), Oracle Security Alert Patches, Timely Recommended Patch Upgrades, EBS Maintenance Packs, Bug-Fixes, TAR/SR Creations/Escalations and Issue Resolutions. Maintain Patch logs and version Controls.
Experience with Oracle Tools OEM Grid Control, Quest Tools, Export/Import Tools, RMAN backup Tool, Setting up Alerts, and Pro-Active and Preventive Maintenance.
Knowledge of ISupplier, and DMZ configuration.
Ability to fine-tune the concurrent processing in a large EBS environment.
Experience as an Oracle Apps DBA with R12.1 and R12.2 experience throughout all stages of the lifecycle
Proven experience with multiple operating systems: Linux/Unix/Solaris/Windows and physical database design
Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware applications/Oracle Weblogic.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience with managing and upgrading Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c and higher
Expertise in Oracle database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Strong experience in Backup and Recovery of large databases from Tape or RMAN online backups.
Working knowledge of Table-space Encryption and Oracle Advanced security tools
Proficient with using SQL Developer/ TOAD and Grid control
Proficient in shell scripting and automation.
Proficient in managing databases with multi-tenant architecture.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with Oracle Golden-gate.
Proven ability to develop and maintain documentation
Knowledge of SQL and MySQL is desirable
