Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Lead Security Engineer to join our esteemed client TCS in Chicago. As a Senior Lead Security Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing robust security measures to protect our client’s assets from cyber threats. Your expertise and leadership will play a pivotal role in safeguarding critical systems and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive security solutions.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
- Monitor security logs and investigate potential security breaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into all aspects of the organization.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the security team.
Requirements:
- 8 years or more of experience in cybersecurity roles.
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification is mandatory.
- Extensive hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies.
- Strong knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and best practices.
- Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Additional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
