Location: Predominantly remote – Candidates must reside in DC, MD, VA, and reside within a commutable distance to Reston, VA, for any emergency firewall issues and scheduled upgrades.

Project Summary                                         Seeking a Sr. Cyber Security Engineer to manage the support, integration and enhancements to CareFirst's Network Security

Job Description:

This resource will Oversee security infrastructure sustainment, maintenance, and advanced configuration of security tools (Palo Alto firewalls, F5 WAF, Illumio, Proofpoint mail gateways, IDS, AWS, and other security tools).

Top Five Skills Required                            

•            5+ years of Cyber Security experience including 5 years of experience configuring and maintaining Palo Alto firewall

•            Demonstrated experience with F5 WAF AND/OR Illumio Microsegmentation

Nice to have skills                        

•            Certifications including CISSP, CEH, CISM, CISA, etc.

•            Experience with AWS security tools

•            Experience with Proofpoint Gateway for email security

•            Experience with Splunk and/or Palo Alto SOAR
