Job Title: Senior Business Analyst with Housing domain
Duration: 4 yrs (35 hrs per week)
Location: NYC(Day 1 onsite)
SCOPE OF SERVICES:
The Department of Housing Preservation and Development has a need for a Subject Matter Expert to work closely with Office of Development who will be responsible to evaluate business processes and operations and provide guidance to IT developers throughout the software development cycle.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements for housing development projects.
Leverage expertise in housing development to provide insights into industry best practices and ensure solutions meet industry standards.
Facilitate meetings and workshops between business stakeholders and the project team to ensure effective communication and understanding of project goals.
Identify opportunities for process improvement within housing development activities and collaborate on implementing effective solutions.
Engage with key stakeholders in the housing development domain to understand their needs and expectations.
Apply analytical skills to analyze housing market data and trends, providing valuable insights to support decision-making.
Stay updated on housing development regulations and ensure that solutions comply with relevant laws and standards.
Create and maintain detailed documentation related to housing development requirements and processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, and testers, to ensure a holistic understanding of housing development projects.
Assess and communicate the potential impact of housing development projects on the local community.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Extensive experience and knowledge in housing development, including a deep understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements for housing development projects.
Experience in assisting and participating in UAT, with a focus on providing domain- specific knowledge to ensure solutions align with housing development requirements.
Strong support throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to implementation, ensuring housing development considerations are integrated into each phase.
Work closely with Business Analysts to translate housing development requirements into comprehensive documentation and technical specifications.
Ability to identify and contribute to the mitigation of risks specific to housing development projects.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Experience in identifying opportunities for process improvement within housing development activities and collaborating on implementing effective solutions.
Experience providing training to project team members on housing development concepts and requirements.
Preferred candidate to have Housing Development experience.
