Job Title: Senior BI Architect
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid) Need locals to MA
Duration: 3+ Months on C2C (Visa: GC and USC, will be considered H1B but candidate must be genuine)
Position Summary:
CHIA is seeking a contract Senior BI Architect to design, develop, and implement our organization’s BI strategy for a health data warehouse project for approximately fifteen (15) months. The project team, consisting of temporary and permanent staff, will rebuild an existing data warehouse using new ETL, BI, and database platforms with an eye towards cost containment and improved technical performance. This key role will work with Senior Management and our Data Analysts to identify business goals and objectives and then design and implement a BI solution that meets those goals.
The Senior BI Architect will also research and recommend an enterprise-level BI tool, work with business teams to gain consensus on that tool, and help train users on how to use it.
Responsibilities:
To be considered for this position, the candidate must demonstrate specific experience in:
· Leading the design and implementation of semantic layers on top of Snowflake and/or Postgres, in an MS Clienture environment.
· Analyzing business needs and recommending an appropriate BI tool that will provide the required performance for Data Analysts.
· Leading a business wide BI solution implementation.
· Assisting clients in a consulting capacity, with implementing and using BI tools and technologies.
· Troubleshooting BI issues and problems and providing support to BI users.
· Developing documentation and training materials as required to support the BI users.
· Working with healthcare data, preferably in the payer space.
· Cloud technologies, preferably MS Clienture and Snowflake.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
· Demonstrated project experience with multiple leading cloud BI tools.
· 5+ years’ experience working in the BI space at an Architect level.
· 5+ years’ experience implementing BI solutions in Clienture cloud environments.
· 2+ years’ experience working with Snowflake and Postgres databases.
· Demonstrable experience in evaluating business needs and implementing BI strategies to meet those needs.
· A combination of technical expertise and leadership skills to effectively navigate the complexities supporting multiple in-house business units
