Job Description:

A Senior AWS Integration/Java Architect is being sought to design, code, and debug Java Spring Boot applications for real-time transactional systems. The role involves leveraging AWS services to build robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions. This is a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and debug Java Spring Boot applications hosted in ECS using Docker images in ECR with Network Load Balancers (NLBs).
• Build Java Spring Boot applications that process data from streaming sources such as Kafka and APIs.
• Develop solutions using AWS services including but not limited to:
• ECS (Elastic Container Service)
• Lambda
• EventBridge
• MSK (Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka)
• Architect and implement solutions for real-time transactional systems with exposure to MongoDB.
• Ensure scalability, high performance, and security in all integrations and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver optimized solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during development and deployment phases.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot application development.
• Proven experience in designing and deploying applications in AWS ECS with Docker containers and utilizing ECR.
• Hands-on experience with streaming data sources like Kafka and API integrations.
• Proficiency in AWS services including Lambda, EventBridge, ECS, and MSK.
• Deep understanding of real-time transactional systems and experience with MongoDB.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with a distributed team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the automotive industry or with enterprise-level projects.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer).
