I hope this message finds you well. We have an exciting contract opportunity for a Security Support Person at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) located in Glastonbury, CT. The position requires an onsite presence and offers a 12-month contract duration.

End-Client: MTA – Metropolitan Transportation Authority
Experience Required: 5-10 Years

Core Responsibilities:

• Support Police and Physical Security technology projects within the MTA IT department.
• Administer workstations, servers, and physical security software.
• Ensure compliance with IT, Cybersecurity, and Physical Security standards, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders (vendors, Cybersecurity, IT, Business groups) and provide technical guidance.
• Assist in risk identification and mitigation.
• Perform onsite visits and travel across the MTA region.

Key Requirements:

• 5-7 years of IT experience (with 3-5 years in a System Administrator/Engineer role).
• Expertise with Microsoft Server (2019-2022), Windows 11, Active Directory.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for server, desktop, and application issues.
• System administration experience with enterprise software, focusing on security permissions and group settings.
• Familiarity with Office 365 & Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Experience with Police, Public Safety, or Physical Security technology (e.g., Video Management, Access Control, Video Analytics).
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

Additional Notes:

• The candidate will be subject to a Police Background Investigation.
• Onsite presence is required for this role.
