CLIENT LOCATION: 201 W. Washington Ave. Madison, WI 53703
- WORK ARRANGEMENT: Hybrid (95% remote, 5% onsite). The client is open to candidates living anywhere in the US as long as they can be onsite when asked (at their cost). However, we will limit this further and have a strong bias toward candidates within 200 miles of Madison, WI (as the time and expense to commute to Madison 1-2 days a month is more doable from that distance).
DETAILS
The State of Wisconsin is looking for a Security Analyst IV.
Description of Duties:
- The Department of Children and Families – Bureau of Information Technology Services seeks a Security Analyst IV to work on Cybersecurity initiatives. The incumbent will possess a strong background in IT security with extensive experience in security activities such as:

- Active Directory reporting
- User and access auditing
- Risk assessments
- Security operations
- Security audits
- Incident handling
- Scripting (e.g. PowerShell, VB)
Required Skills: (Need Majority; 5+ Years)
- Strong business analysis experience in documenting policy processes and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and maintain timelines.
- Experience securing IT applications by defining and maintaining access privileges, defining access review methodologies, and performing access reviews.
- Experience implementing IT security improvements by assessing current state, performing risk assessments, and providing mitigation strategies.
Nice to Have Skills (Need four or more of the following):
- Active directory management: 10+ years
- User account auditing: 8+ years
- Risk Assessment: 5+ years
- Scripting: 5+ years
- Data analysis: 5+ years
- Security operations: 8+ years
Interview Process:
