About the job
Years of experience/education and/or certifications required:
- 6-9yrs as a software Test Engineer. Good to have ISTQB Certification.
What are the top 3-5 skills requirements should this person have?
- Hands-on experience and strong understanding of SDLC and STLC on Agile Scrum environments
- Experience on clinical data management systems. Quick understanding and self-ownership
- Hands-on experience in Agile and Waterfall Methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and Similar systems
- Hands on experience in Healthcare/ Pharma background is preferred.
Job Description:
- Perform manual testing of software applications to ensure they meet user requirements.
- Extensive experience on different types of testing that includes Functional testing, System Integration testing, Regression testing and UAT.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum Environments on multiple Projects
- Experience in developing test plans, strategies, and test Scenarios.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts. Collaborate with the development team to address and resolve identified issues in a timely manner.
- Expertise in using JIRA/Excel for writing the Test Cases and tracking the Defects.
- Hands on Experience using SQL queries.
- Participate in Defect Triaging during Major releases and tracking the Defects.
- Perform Smoke testing to ensure that new changes or updates do not affect existing functionalities.
- Good Knowledge on qTest.
- Excellent Communication skills-Verbal and written.
