Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with expertise in the finance and banking domain to join our team in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will facilitate agile practices, drive team performance, and ensure successful project delivery while adhering to industry standards and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a servant leader and coach for Agile teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a well-defined product backlog and effective prioritization of tasks.
• Monitor team progress, remove impediments, and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Guide teams in Agile practices and principles, ensuring adherence to established frameworks.
• Partner with stakeholders to communicate project status, risks, and dependencies effectively.
• Drive the adoption of Agile best practices and continuously assess team performance for improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions within the finance and banking domain.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in the finance or banking domain.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Exceptional facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of finance and banking operations, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certifications preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with large-scale enterprise projects in the financial sector.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools is a plus.
