Role : SAP TM Architect
Location: Sacramento, California (Hybrid) not completely remote
Contract: Long Term

Visa – GC/USC

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of SAP TM solutions, focusing on transportation order management, carrier tendering, freight cost management, and settlement.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business needs into SAP TM solutions and ensure system alignment with business goals.
• Configure SAP TM for various transportation processes, including freight order planning, private fleet management, and integration with SAP ECC (SD/MM).
• Ensure smooth integration of SAP TM with other SAP modules (SD, MM, LE) and external systems.
• Oversee testing phases and resolve system issues to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in transportation management and implement best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of SAP experience with at least 6 years focused on SAP TM (9.3 or higher).
• Strong knowledge of SAP TM functionalities, including freight order planning, carrier tendering, and transportation settlement.
• Experience with SAP ECC integration (SD, MM) and transportation-related modules.
• Ability to design and configure transportation master data (zones, lanes, carriers).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Preferred:

• SAP TM certification (nice to have)
