Core SAP IBP Knowledge seeking:

Familiarity with SAP IBP Modules:
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Experience with demand-supply balancing, scenario planning, and integrated business planning processes.
- Demand Planning: Knowledge of demand forecasting models, statistical forecasting, and demand sensing.
- Inventory Optimization: Experience in managing safety stock levels, inventory projections, and service-level optimization.
- Supply Planning: Ability to handle supply chain constraints, capacity planning, and supply network optimization.
- Response Management: Knowledge of real-time response to demand fluctuations and supply chain disruptions.
- Configuration of IBP Solutions:
- Proficiency in configuring SAP IBP to meet business requirements, including setting up planning areas, key figures, planning operators, and other foundational elements.
- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform for configuring IBP and ensuring smooth integration with other SAP modules like S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or third-party systems.

2. Technical Skills:

Integration Technologies:
- Experience integrating SAP IBP with other systems, using tools like SAP CPI-DS (Cloud Platform Integration for Data Services), Smart Data Integration (SDI), SAP BW, or non-SAP systems.
- Knowledge of APIs, OData Services, and other middleware for seamless data flow between different systems in the supply chain.

3. Functional Skills:

Supply Chain and Operations Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, including demand forecasting, capacity planning, inventory optimization, and logistics.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and ability to translate business requirements into SAP IBP configurations.
Experience in implementing IBP Projects:
- Hands-on experience in SAP IBP implementation projects, from gathering requirements to system configuration, testing, and go-live.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) for handling large-scale SAP IBP projects.

4. Soft Skills:

Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders, including supply chain leaders, business analysts, and IT teams, to gather requirements and provide solutions.
Analytical Thinking & Problem-Solving:
- Strong analytical skills to assess complex supply chain challenges and leverage SAP IBP’s features for optimized solutions.
Adaptability & Continuous Learning:
- Ability to keep up with new features and updates in SAP IBP, as well as evolving supply chain challenges.
