Position – SAP Finance Vertex Consultant

Location – Dallas, TX || Sunnyvale, CA – Onsite

Duration – Longterm Contract

Client: TCS

Key Responsibilities:

• Vertex Integration: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Vertex integration with SAP, ensuring seamless data flow and accurate tax computations.
• System Configuration: Configure SAP Finance modules and Vertex tax software to meet business requirements, including setting up tax rules, calculations, and data structures.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to SAP and Vertex integration, ensuring minimal disruption to financial operations.
• Tax Compliance: Maintain a deep understanding of global and country-specific tax procedures to ensure systems are compliant with current regulations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, and IT, to optimize tax-related processes and support business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years in SAP Finance, with at least 1 year dedicated to Vertex implementation.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in configuring and customizing SAP Finance modules and Vertex tax software.
• Tax Knowledge: Strong understanding of tax determination, reporting, and compliance within SAP systems.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues between SAP and Vertex.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Education: At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
