Job Title: SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant
Client: HCL
Bill Rate: $60/hour on C2C
Location: Remote
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant with a strong background in SAP Analytics solutions and data warehousing. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in SAC Planning, S/4HANA Analytics, SAP Datasphere (Data Warehouse Cloud – DWC), and related SAP tools. This role involves hands-on implementation, functional testing, and providing strategic input for innovative analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise:
- Leverage 10+ years of experience in SAP Analytics Cloud, SAC Planning, S/4HANA Analytics, or SAP Datasphere.
- Provide expert-level knowledge in SAP data warehousing solutions, such as SAP BW/4HANA or SAP HANA (especially HANA Cloud or HANA 2.0).
- Demonstrate knowledge of replication methods to HANA or BW.
- Utilize deployment modes of SAP Analytics solutions (Cloud, On-Premise, Hybrid).
- Solution Development and Testing:
- Work on mixed modeling with BW/4HANA and HANA native modeling.
- Develop and extend S/4HANA Analytics features like CDS Views, Query Views, and KPIs using KPI Modeller.
- Implement advanced analytics features, such as Predictive Analytics, SAC Smart Features, and SAC Application Designer.
- Support related planning solutions, including BPC, TPM, and BW-IP.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and user manuals.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
- Consulting and Communication:
- Provide strong core consulting skills, including oral and written communication, organization, planning, client-facing, and interpersonal abilities.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in the analytics space, including platforms and solutions from other vendors.
- Testing and Automation:
- Conduct functional testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT), regression testing, and defect retesting.
- Develop test scripts, batch jobs, and execute them as per business requirements.
- Issue Resolution and Continuous Improvement:
- Act as a point of escalation for complex and high-priority customer issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis for critical issues and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with product management, development, and QA teams to provide feedback and influence product design.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for support processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for innovation, automation, and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics solutions and planning tools.
- Knowledge of advanced analytics domains and predictive tools.
- Familiarity with mixed modeling, functional testing, and automation tools.
- Ability to create and maintain user manuals and functional documentation.
- Strong client-facing skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Knowledge of KPI Modeller, SAC Application Designer, and other advanced SAP features is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with S/4HANA Analytics and CDS Views development.
- Hands-on knowledge of BPC, TPM, and BW-IP planning solutions.
- Familiarity with SAC’s Smart Features and advanced analytics capabilities.
