Position: SAP ABAP WM Consultant
Location: Irvine, CA
Mode of Job: Onsite
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a mid-senior level consultant, you will play a crucial role in implementing, customizing, and maintaining SAP solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You should have a strong understanding of SAP technologies, particularly in ABAP development, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance SAP applications using ABAP programming language, with expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
- Customize SAP modules to meet client requirements and business processes, including but not limited to Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF objects).
- Collaborate with functional consultants and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design and develop complex RICEF objects leveraging OOABAP principles for improved efficiency and maintainability.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug SAP applications to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
- Stay updated with SAP releases, enhancements, and new features.
- Document technical specifications, system configurations, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field.
- 7-10 years of experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant or Developer.
- Proficient in ABAP programming language, SAP Fiori, SAP HANA, and other relevant SAP technologies.
- Strong experience in developing and implementing RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
- Expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) development principles and design patterns.
- Experience with SAP implementation projects, including customization and integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP certification in ABAP development.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO.
