Essential Job Functions:
• Develop and maintain Custom SAP Objects like screens, RFC, BAPI, BADI, User exits, inbound and outbound interfaces, ABAP/4 Reports, ABAP Query, and Report Writer and Report Painter reports in the areas of FI, CO, FM and MM modules
• Write Low Level Design, Unit Testing Plan, and Unit Test case documentation
• Design, develop, code review, bug-fix, and test the application
• Assist in Integration Testing
• Perform Code optimization and strictly adhere to bank coding standards
• Assist in any documentation or any artifacts needed for OIS clearance
• Coordinate day-to-day communication between team in Chennai and HQ Educational Qualifications and Experience:
• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science, Engineering, or related discipline
Role Specific Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Experience in writing interfaces between SAP and legacy systems, including data migration, data validation, and data conversion • Experience with ABAP/4 Query, ALV, and Report Writer and Report Painter tools • Experience with BAPI and RFC technology • IT experience with SAP ABAP/4 programming
• Technical experience with FI (General Ledger, Special Purpose Ledger), Controlling, Budgeting, and Funds Management, Travel, and Materials Management modules of SAP
• Experience in Function Modules, RFC, Reports, BDCs, SMARTFORMS, BAPI, User Exits & Enhancements, and Unicode based programming Certification Requirements:
• SAP ABAP certification Skills/Abilities Requirements:
• Good understanding and practical expertise with regards to software development life cycle methodologies
• Good understanding of the following: database tables used in FI, CO, FM, Travel and MM modules • Hands-on SAP ABAP code optimization techniques • Solid knowledge in the development and testing methodologies and quality practices • Strong communication skills and hands on experience in analyzing user requirements and writing technical specifications
