Role: GCP Lead Engineer

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Job Description:

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Madison, Wisconsin or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Hands on GCP experience with very good communication skill. 
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.

• At least 12+ years of experience with Information Technology
• 5+ years of experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, such as BigQuery, CloudRun, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Containers, Workflows, IAM, Etc . Understanding of cloud-native solutions and architecture is critical
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in as Python, SQL, Terraform, CI/CD, Git flows, Attunity, AutoSys, Airflow Dag creation, execution, and monitoring
• Strong knowledge on Production support, Debugging and performance tuning
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with global teams, including clear documentation practices and the ability to convey technical details to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in Insurance domain preferable
• Good understanding of data integration, data quality and data architecture
• Experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling and Modeling of Unstructured Data
• Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks
• Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams.
