Role Description:

Environment management:Install, configure, and upgrade IBM DataStage environments. Manage DataStage projects, including creating, deleting, and configuring them. Assign project roles and permissions to users. Monitor DataStage server performance and resource utilization. Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. Implement and maintain DataStage security configurations. Manage user access and permissions. ETL Process Support:Analyze and optimize DataStage ETL processes. Troubleshoot DataStage job failures and provide root cause analysis. Monitor job execution and performance. Assist development teams with DataStage project creation and setupTechnical Skills:Strong knowledge of IBM DataStage (InfoSphere DataStage) and its components.Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.Familiarity with various data sources and connectors.Experience with DataStage Director and Designer clients.Knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows).Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).Familiarity with databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
