Job Description: 

Reporting Lead – Power Bi

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the reporting and analytics function for NJR’s IT transformation project.
• Develop & enhance reports using Power BI and Azure Data Factory (must-have).
• Integrate reporting solutions across SAP S4 HANA (nice-to-have).
• Ensure security & compliance, managing data encryption & transmission standards.
• Collaborate with Cognizant’s reporting team and internal NJR stakeholders.
• Own and drive projects—not just execute assigned tasks.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

✅ Hands-on and proactive—can take ownership without constant direction.
✅ Strong Power BI & Azure Data Factory expertise.
✅ Any exposure to SAP S4 HANA and exposure to SAP reporting tools.
✅ Comfortable working cross-functionally with IT, security, and business teams.
✅ Strong grasp of DAX for complex reporting logic in Power BI.
✅ ETL & Data Modeling experience—proficiency in SQL Server & Azure Synapse a plus.
✅ Experience working in highly regulated environments (utilities, finance, etc.).

This candidate must be independent, solutions-driven, and able to lead reporting initiatives without excessive handholding. If they need to be constantly reminded of tasks, they are not the right fit.
