IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT:::: Azure Data Engineer || Remote||
Title- Azure Data Engineer
Location: Redmond, WA (Fully Remote)
Length: 9 months (potential extension)
Client: Avanade/Microsoft
Rate: $50/hr C2C MAX
Note: Candidate must have T-SQL, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory and Databricks exp.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of exp as a Data Engineer
- Exp. with T-SQL –including CRUD operations, query optimization, indexing, fine-tuning, and profiling
- Exp. Azure Synapse Analytics with a focus on Notebooks, Snapshots, and triggers/Pipelines
- Azure Data Factory and Databricks exp.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines, storage, and compute components using Azure Services
- Understand the Data Platforms & Services strategy, and information architecture, and help build modern data lakes and maintain high standards of data quality and integrity
- Design and build ETL pipelines to automate structured and unstructured data ingestion
- Analyzes requirements and architecture specifications to create a detailed design document
- Responsible for data engineering functions including, but not limited to data extraction, transformation, loading, and integration in support of modern cloud computing platforms like Azure and Databricks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of exp as a Data Engineer
- Strong skills in T-SQL including CRUD operations, query optimization, indexing, fine-tuning, and profiling
- Experience with SQL Data Modeling, ADO.NET, and Entity Framework
- Proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics with a focus on Notebooks, Snapshots, and triggers/Pipelines
- Experience with Azure Data Factory and Databrick
- Proficiency in Kusto Query Language including extents and joins.
