Position Overview:
We are seeking Informatica ETL Developers to support a healthcare client based in Washington DC. The primary responsibilities include designing, implementing, and testing Informatica Powercenter workflows and mappings.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
Create data mappings and workflows using Informatica Powercenter to extract, transform, and load data into target environments (e.g., batch files, databases).
Develop technical design documents and test plans for ETL unit and integration testing.
Collaborate with functional and integration teams on architecture and design.
Develop ETL workflows and mappings from ODS to Datawarehouse using Informatica Powercenter.
Optimization and Standards:
Tune and optimize ETL batch jobs for performance and throughput.
Adhere to Informatica workflow and mapping standards to ensure consistent development practices (e.g., avoiding hard coding, leveraging mapplet/reuse concepts).
Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide development support and mentor junior developers.
Assist with troubleshooting ETL batch job issues in production, PreProd, QA, and UAT environments.
Support infrastructure and development teams.
Additional Skills:
Experience in Informatica Powercenter installation, administration, and configuration is a plus.
Familiarity with Informatica Powercenter HTTP Adapter, JMS Adapter, and Webservices Hub is desirable.

16+ years of business analysis experience.
16+ years of experience in the software development lifecycle.
16+ years of experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
16+ years of experience with MS Office and PowerPoint.
8+ years of professional experience with Informatica Powercenter 9.X.
8+ years of professional experience with Oracle Database.
8+ years of professional experience with SQL Developer.
12+ years of professional experience with PL/SQL.
12+ years of professional experience in Linux and Windows environments.
6+ years of experience with SOAP WebServices (nice to have).
6+ years of experience with ODS/Datawarehouse concepts.
3+ years of experience in installation, administration, configuration, and monitoring of Informatica Powercenter.
Skills:
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
4+ years of familiarity with Informatica Powercenter HTTP Adapter, JMS Adapter, and Webservices Hub.
1+ year of experience with MicroStrategy development.
3+ years of experience with Curam Data Model (version 6.2).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
