Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software development with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, Node.js, or Go.
- Deep understanding of AWS services: EC2, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and others.
- Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or AWS EKS.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, including service discovery, load balancing, and API management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or GitLab CI.
- Database experience, both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with serverless architecture and event-driven development (AWS Lambda, SNS, SQS).
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting using AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack, or Prometheus.
- Strong knowledge of networking and security concepts: VPC, IAM, security groups, firewalls, and SSL/TLS encryption.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed cloud environment.
Nice to Have:
- AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and experience working with AWS EventBridge or Kafka.
- Experience with API Gateway and gRPC for efficient API management and communication.
- Familiarity with data streaming technologies such as Kinesis or Apache Kafka.
- Experience in FinOps or cloud cost optimization strategies.
