REMOTE _ Sr. BSA – Salesforce Foundation- Remote

Role: Sr. BSA – Salesforce Foundation

Job location: Remote – Sentara approved state a must!

Term: 6 mos with intention to convert to FTE

Title/Position Detail: This person will be a “hybrid” skillset of Sr. BSA AND QA. The manager  will consider a candidate who is primarily a QA with strong BSA experience/abilities within Salesforce Health cloud as long as they have all of the required experience. 

QA specifics requirements: 

– Jira and confluence experience

– Ideally a QA with a mix of automation and Manual testing (but if they do not have automation, it's not make or break)

General position info

Health Plan Call Center team – member and provider services is what they’ll support (Health plan experience is a MUST)

Soft Skills: 

Strong personality/character (individuality/motivated – not afraid to speak up in calls, go getter about learning products, dig heels in and get familiar and Independent) 

Technical Must Haves: 

Salesforce Foundation is preferred. This is the tool they'll be supporting (strategic grant making/financial tool within Salesforce) If someone has Health Cloud experience, this and Marketing Cloud can be taught.

HealthCloud is a Must if they do NOT have Foundation – both are preferred.

 

Nice to Haves:

Marketing cloud is a good back – up to Health cloud as long as they have the Scaled Agile experience and strong Salesforce Sr. BSA experience)

Certs: Not required if enough scaled agile and salesforce experience

–          But definitely looks good and makes candidate stand out (Salesforce certs/ Aglie certs/ Kanban knowledge/experience is a plus)

Agile familiarity is a must – doesn’t have to be certified but worked in agile or Scaled agile environment even better (SaFe is the preferred here and will make candidate stand out, but not required if strong Agile)

Day to Day (more details on what is expected from candidate):

Daily standups with team to report what did yesterday, today, risks etc.

Writing user stories and acceptance criteria

Attending meetings and listening and gathering requirements

 Mtng with business. Understanding processes current and future state

Conversations with developer to review requirements – experience working directly with developers and strong technical communication ability is a MUST

Story refinements.

In some cases, occasionally review and gather add’l info on an incident (production issue as it comes in to add clarity b/f it goes to developer for resolution.)

Being able to facilitate extract requirements and interpret requirements.

Manager will expect them to learn and keep in mind the operational rules of business partner (i.e. open 8a-8p can’t deploy after 9p; in order for this to work you need to include such and such team – raise component to important ppl. Etc.)

They to bring BSAs in early in the process. Some new initiatives are coming down; need someone who can handle starting without having all the information from the jump; being able to keep a level head and gather requirements when you may not have everything to begin with.

Candidate must be comfortable with creating mock-up diagrams, workflow processes.

*Comfortable with making own recommendations when they have good thoughts. Speaking up with recommendations and suggestions based on knowledge and experience is encouraged by this team/manager and absolutely necessary to be a strong contender!
