Job Description
PTC- SAP S/4HANA BRIM Functional SME
Candidate will be required to travel to the commission’s headquarters on a as needed basis mainly for the critical phases of the project. No travel expense will be provided.
With the implementation of the new UBOS solution, the PTC is implementing the SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) based on SAP S/4HANA. The PTC is engaging a System Integrator (SI) to perform the implementation; however, the PTC has limited experience in the BRIM functionality and technical details. This position is to understand the PTC’s needs and desires and work with the SI to implement a fully functional and reliable BRIM Application as part of UBOS. This position is responsible for the Functional and business process portion of the BRIM implementation and its posting to SAP S/4 HANA Finance module and validating all the functional aspects of the integrations with BRIM for UBOS. This position will end approximately at the end of the UBOS implementation project
Description of Duties
The selected Candidate will perform the following duties:
• Study and understand the PTC’s current Billing and Revenue structure and functionality which is largely done in a proprietary system.
• Study and understand the PTC’s desired Billing and Revenue functionality for UBOS.
• Using knowledge gained to coordinate changes and designs to the UBOS and the PTC’s other technologies to assure the PTC’s needs are met and including following the standards and policies.
• Act as PTC’s BRIM subject matter expert and represent the PTC in meetings and workshops and works with the UBOS SI team to ensure PTC’s needs are met.
• Act as a subject matter expert to raise concerns and possible issues to the PTC leadership with enough details for the PTC leadership to decide on how to proceed.
• Develops and maintains plans and other documentation as required using PTC established standards, procedures, templates, and methodologies.
• Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients.
• Follows the tasks and other duties assigned by the PTC.
• Leads, and participates in project team meetings and activities for Billing and Revenue work efforts related to enterprise systems
• Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients.
• Reviews SI’s documentation on behalf of PTC and advises to the PTC UBOS IT Program Manager on acceptance of the documentation.
• Performs hands on testing as part of PTC’s acceptance of the SI’s solution and provide their opinion to PTC’s UBOS IT Program Manager on when a deliverable meets PTC’s needs and desires and if doesn’t, provide documentation needed for PTC to rectify any issues with the SI.
• Assists with conducting lessons learned sessions during and after projects to identify recommendations for improvement.
• Follows the tasks and other duties assigned by the UBOS IT Program Manager
Desired Skillset
The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years of expertise in SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) implementations of various sizes. Implementation experience for a tolling back office or for a large-scale call center based back office is highly desired. Proficient in the Microsoft Office 365 suite of business software including Work, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint, plus proficient in Microsoft Project.

• ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologies
• Provide daily and hourly direction and support to the IT UBOS Team as assigned
• Work with the business departments’ staff and determine priorities and schedules for the work to be performed
• Ability to work independently to accomplish the tasks and duties assigned
• Utilizes various software and/or technology tools to perform job duties
• Performs related duties as assigned
Minimum Experience
• 5 years of SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) system functional support experience.
• 1 successful SAP BRIM implementation experience in an SAP S/4 HANA landscape.
Certifications / Education in all cases
• Bachelor’s degree in business management or information systems. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted.
Engagement Requirements
· The Candidate shall be located within the Continental United States. There is no opportunity for “Off-shore” resources for this Statement of Work. While the engagement will be largely remote and the candidate can be located anywhere within the continental US, the candidate maybe required to travel to the commission’s headquarters on a as needed basis mainly for the critical phases of the project such as requirements gathering, solution confirmation, System Integration testing, UAT, Go-live, and hyper care. No additional travel expense will be provided.
