Job Title: Mobile Automation Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 1 day per week in office)
Rate: $60/hr C2C
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Automation Engineer to join our team in Chicago, IL. This role requires a motivated individual who can work in a hybrid mode, with the expectation to be in the office one day per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile automation testing, API automation, and a proven track record of at least 5 years as an Automation Mobile QA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automated tests for mobile applications using tools such as Appium, SeeTest, or similar.
- Design, implement, and maintain API automation tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Participate in design and code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile automation.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automation Mobile QA.
- Hands-on experience with mobile automation tools (e.g., Appium, SeeTest, etc.).
- Strong understanding and experience in API automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in automation testing (e.g., Java, Python, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Prior experience in a hybrid work environment.
