Prior Public sector experience
Someone with Prior Public sector experience will be given priority & Must be a Legitimate Visa.
Certified Software Tester (CSTE), Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA), Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE), ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL),
Quality Improvement Associate Certification (CQIA), Certified Test Manager (CTM), Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP), or other Industry equivalent certification.
The equivalent certification may be acceptable provided the Master Contractor demonstrate that they are functionally equivalent to the preferred certification.
Ø Act as a senior Quality Assurance technical resource on project teams to oversee all Quality
Ø Assurance test plans, cases, and scripts.
Ø Interact with Developers, User Groups, Business Analysts, System Administrators, SME’s,
Ø and other project team members.
Ø Apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate IT processes through
Ø careful testing to maximize the benefit of business investments in IT initiatives.
Ø Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for new
Ø applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their
Ø development/product lifecycles.
Ø Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and
Ø potential trouble areas in IT systems and projects across the organization.
Ø Conduct internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established Quality Assurance
Ø standards for software development, application integration, and information system
Ø performance, and corresponding documentation.
Ø Design and execute manual test plans, cases, and scripts for integrated systems, user
Ø acceptance testing, complete modules, and/or workflows.
Ø Develop (converting requirements), maintain, execute, and present test plan to rigorously
Ø test product functionality and investigate all potential product test failures.
Ø Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and systems
Ø goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
Ø Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit,
Ø regression, load, and acceptance testing methods.
Ø Make recommendations for improvement of applications to programmers and software
Ø developers or engineers.
Ø Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project
Ø stakeholders and project team.
Ø Test any new software to ensure that integration into MDOT and MDTA systems meets
Ø functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications.
Ø Develop and maintain defect management.
Ø Analyze formal test results to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration
Ø issues, and interoperability flaws
Ø Verify and revise quality assurance standards as needed.
Ø Provide quality management for information systems using the standard methodologies,
Ø techniques, and metrics for assuring product quality and key activities in quality management.
Ø Establish capable processes, monitoring and control of critical processes and product
Ø mechanisms for feedback of performance, implementation of an effective root cause analysis
Ø and corrective action system, and continuous process improvement.
Ø Provide strategic quality plans in targeted areas of the organization.
Ø Provide quality assurance (QA) strategies to ensure continuous production of products is
Ø consistent with established industry standards, government regulations and customer requirements.
Ø Develop and implement life cycle and QA methodologies and QA metrics.
Ø Perform other duties as assigned
Perform bug fix verification and validation including:
• Monitoring and tracking all issues
• Performing all requirement and system testing
• Retesting all issues to validate system fixes
Test any new software to ensure that integration into MDOT and MDTA systems meets
functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications.
