Title: Quality Analyst
Work Location: Washington Boulevard, Baltimore, MD 21230
Visa: Open to any visa. Candidates must provide a resume, driver's license, visa, degree certificate (both Bachelor's and Master's), and other relevant certificates.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Must hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant Coursework: Completed courses in Software Development, Software Testing, Algorithms, Data Structures, and Quality Assurance.

Required Experience:

  1. Automation Testing Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in automation testing, including developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
  2. CI/CD Integration: Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  3. Programming Skills: Proficient in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript) used for writing automated test scripts.
  4. Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or Cypress.
  5. Test Management Tools: Familiarity with test management tools like TFS, Azure DevOps, JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail, or Zephyr for tracking test cases and defects.
  6. Version Control: Experience using version control systems like Git for managing code repositories.
  7. SQL Knowledge: Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts to create, manipulate, and query test data.
  8. API Testing: Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI for automating API and web service tests.
  9. Agile/Scrum Experience: Worked in Agile or Scrum teams, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives, aligning test activities with the Agile process.
  10. TDD Practices: Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices, where test cases are written before code development begins.
  11. BDD Frameworks: Experience using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow to write test cases in Gherkin language, promoting collaboration between developers, testers, and business stakeholders.
  12. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills for identifying test scenarios, designing test cases, and diagnosing issues effectively.
  13. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail in creating and executing test cases, ensuring all edge cases and scenarios are covered.
  14. Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate findings, issues, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  15. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners.
  16. End-to-End Testing: Experience in conducting end-to-end automated testing for web or mobile applications, covering UI, API, and backend systems.
  17. Performance Testing: Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner for automating load and stress tests.
  18. Cross-Browser Testing: Experience in automating tests for multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) and platforms (Windows, Mac, mobile OS) to ensure compatibility.
  19. Continuous Learning: Actively keeps up with the latest trends and advancements in test automation tools, techniques, and methodologies.
