Role : QA W/POS
Location : Woonsocket, RI |
Responsibilities:
- Develop test cases/scenarios to validate the business requirements/user stories are met for the application under test.
- Execute test cases/scenarios and collect results ensuring the product is tested with quality within the committed timelines.
- Report Bugs and issues to team and help to trouble shoot them.
- Work efficiently and effectively in collaboration with other team members.
- Ability to document daily status and reports on testing.
Required Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of SDLC methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Experience working on Point of Sale (POS) / Healthcare domain is a plus.
- Ability to work to a schedule and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving.
- Experience with database (Oracle or SQL server – writing queries)skills.
Education:
Associate degree in business or technology related field with at least 2 years of Software Quality Assurance experience, or an equivalent work experience in software industry
