QA Architect ::Dallas, Tx (Hybrid)::6-12 months CTH::USC, GC only

Responsibilities: • Assess the current state of our QE tooling and frameworks, identifying technical gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, technical constraints, and quality objectives. • Develop a comprehensive roadmap for remediating technical gaps in QE tooling and frameworks, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact and feasibility. • Design and architect robust, scalable solutions to address identified technical gaps, leveraging best practices and emerging technologies. • Lead the implementation of remediation efforts, working closely with development teams, QA engineers, and other stakeholders. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA engineers, helping them understand and adopt new tools, frameworks, and methodologies. • Conduct code reviews, performance evaluations, and technical assessments to ensure the quality and maintainability of QE tooling and frameworks. • Establish and maintain documentation, standards, and guidelines for QE tooling and frameworks, ensuring consistency and repeatability across projects. • Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies in quality assurance and software testing, incorporating relevant insights into our technical roadmap. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QE processes into the overall software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps pipeline. Requirements: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. • Proven experience as a QA Architect, Technical Lead, or similar role, with a focus on quality engineering tooling and frameworks. • Deep understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. • Extensive hands-on experience with a variety of testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, Appium, etc. • Strong proficiency in programming and scripting languages, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, etc. • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues and propose effective solutions. • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). • Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB), software architecture, or related fields are desirable.
