Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Python/PySpark Data Engineer to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will build and optimize data pipelines, support cloud migrations, and design resilient, high-performing data platforms using AWS. This role requires strong collaboration with analysts, architects, and data professionals to define and consolidate company data assets. A focus on automation, system performance, and innovation is key.

Mandatory Skills:

• Technical Proficiency:
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Expertise in Python, SQL, and Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with Databricks and ACID-compliant formats (Hudi, Iceberg, Delta Lake).
• Cloud & Infrastructure:
• Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, EMR, Glue).
• Knowledge of Terraform and data processing infrastructure in AWS.
• Data Management:
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and data governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with data observability solutions.
• Other Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Cloud certifications (AWS preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
