About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Python Full Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and maintaining robust web applications, leveraging their expertise in both backend and front-end technologies. This role requires a strong command over Python, modern JavaScript frameworks, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. This is an onsite role based in Reston, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
· Web Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Python for the backend and Angular/React for the frontend.
· API Development: Develop and manage RESTful APIs and backend services using Flask, Python, and Redshift.
· Data Visualization: Utilize Tableau or Power BI to create interactive and insightful dashboards and reports.
· Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design features, and implement scalable solutions.
· DevOps: Leverage Fannie Mae DevOps tool stack for building, inspecting, deploying, testing, and promoting features.
· Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough unit testing, usability testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) using frameworks such as Selenium.
· AWS Cloud: Utilize AWS technologies to build, deploy, and manage cloud-based applications.
· Performance Monitoring: Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and take necessary actions to optimize system performance.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
· At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer.
· Strong proficiency in Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
· Solid experience with UI frameworks like Angular, React, or equivalent.
· Experience in building RESTful Web Services and Web APIs using Flask, Python, and Redshift.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Experiences:
· DevOps Tools: Experience with Fannie Mae DevOps tool stack to manage build, inspect, deploy, and test processes.
· CI/CD Pipelines: Proficiency with Jenkins, Go, and build tools such as Gradle, Maven, and Nexus.
· Containerization & Orchestration: Knowledge of Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration is a plus.
· Product Testing & Quality Assurance: Experience in product testing, usability testing, and using testing frameworks like Selenium.
· AWS Technologies: Skilled in AWS services for building, deploying, and operating applications.
· System Performance Tuning: Ability to monitor system performance, identify issues, and take actions to enhance performance.
· Data Visualization: Experience with Tableau or Power BI for creating interactive reports and dashboards
