Job Title: Product Manager / Product Owner (Digital Payments)
Location: Raleigh or Charlotte (Hybrid)
Job Type: contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for digital payment products.
- Market Research: Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
- Product Development: Lead the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and business teams.
- Backlog Management: Prioritize the product backlog and define clear requirements and user stories.
- Performance Monitoring: Track product performance and optimize where needed.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure payment products meet industry standards (e.g., PCI-DSS).
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years in product management, preferably in digital payments or fintech.
- Strong knowledge of payment systems and industry standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, EMV).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with payment gateways, mobile payments, and APIs.
- Familiarity with performance tools like Google Analytics or Tableau.
