Job Description :         

This team will play an integral part in advancing our advertising solutions by implementing Machine Learning models into our Ad Serving Process to better meet shopper and advertiser needs. This includes developing an automated and scalable pipeline to leverage machine learning algorithms, alongside Data Science and Engineering teams.

This is a long-term effort with multiple phases. It provides diverse opportunities for team members to learn and grow with the work. The systems involved are key revenue drivers for the organization. Team members could work in a collaborative environment while delivering impactful capabilities.

Interview Process: product capabilities interview, followed by a more in-depth interview with team lead

Requirements :

•            5-7+ years of experience in ML engineering, MLOps, or ML product management, with at least 12-18 months of hands-on experience with Vertex AI and cloud-based ML deployment

•            Strong expertise in managing the ML lifecycle, from training to production deployment, using automated pipelines

•            Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially Vertex AI, including managed pipelines, feature store, model monitoring, and AutoML

•            Proficiency in scaling ML models using CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Vertex AI Pipelines), and model versioning

•            Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm), microservices, and API-driven model deployment

•            Experience with Vertex AI Model Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and A/B testing to ensure continuous model effectiveness

Nice to Have

•            Experience optimizing ML workflows for cost efficiency and performance on cloud platforms

•            Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance in ML applications

•            Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable ML solutions

Responsibilities

•            Develop and manage a short- and long-term roadmap and strategy to scale machine learning models in production through an automated pipeline

•            Understand and communicate business objectives and technical infrastructure requirements to ensure deployments are scalable, stable, and aligned with organizational goals

•            Identify customer and business problems, outlining technical challenges to support discovery and development efforts

•            Contribute to and lead discovery and inception sessions to assess project scope and define key deliverables

•            Utilize data, stakeholder feedback, and technical dependencies to prioritize tasks related to deploying, monitoring, and maintaining machine learning pipelines

•            Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure open communication for sharing feedback, learning, and business objectives

•            Coordinate releases with core teams to ensure seamless deployments that meet business and technical requirements within set timelines

•            Continuously monitor model performance to ensure alignment with KPIs and implement necessary adaptations over time

Lead requirements gathering and backlog management in collaboration with the development team to ensure efficient execution and prioritization of tasks
