Job Description:
• Advanced proficiency in using MicroStrategy Developer for creating, managing, and deploying dashboards.
• Expertise in building dynamic dashboards with selectors, filters, and prompts.
• Proficiency in developing interactive dashboards for MicroStrategy Web and Mobile, ensuring cross-platform compatibility.
• Experience in designing responsive layouts for different screen sizes and devices.
• Advanced skills in creating and formatting MicroStrategy reports and documents to visualize complex data effectively.
• Ability to design pixel-perfect documents with custom grids, graphs, and other visual elements.
• Strong understanding of MicroStrategy’s data modeling concepts, including schema objects, attributes, metrics, hierarchies, and relationships.
• Experience in creating logical data models that optimize performance and support complex reporting needs.
• Proficiency in SQL, particularly for writing complex queries, optimizing data retrieval, and troubleshooting performance issues within MicroStrategy.
• Understanding of MicroStrategy's SQL Engine and how it generates and executes SQL.
• Experience in connecting MicroStrategy to various data sources, including relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.), cloud-based data sources, and big data platforms.
• Knowledge of configuring and using MicroStrategy Intelligence Server for real-time data analysis.
• Strong skills in UI design, focusing on creating user-friendly, intuitive interfaces for dashboards and reports
• Proficiency in UI design for prototyping and designing dashboard layouts.
• Understanding of UX principles to ensure dashboards are easy to navigate and provide a seamless user experience.
• Ability to design dashboards that are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing, with a focus on usability.
• Expertise in applying visual design principles, including color theory, typography, and branding, to create cohesive and engaging dashboards.
• Ability to align dashboard designs with organizational branding guidelines and standards.
• Strong knowledge of data visualization principles, ensuring that data is presented in a clear, meaningful, and actionable manner.
• Experience in choosing appropriate chart types, layouts, and visual elements to represent different data types effectively.
