Role: Power BI Developer

Location: Spring, TX (Local Profiles Only)

Duration: Contract Position

Exp: 12+ Years

Job Description:

• Responsible for building implementing and supporting reporting solutions for our enterprise clients The right individual will possess experience in all stages of BI project work requirements and logical design physical design implementation testing and deployment
• Develop data models ETL packages OLAP cubes and reports utilizing Power BI applying best practices to the development lifecycle Documentation of sourcetotarget mappings data dictionaries and database design Identify areas of improvement to optimize data flows
• Analyze data models and optimize data structures Investigate and implement business intelligence for your entire organization Collaborate with data management
• Demonstrates proficiency in the development and administration at least one of the following areas
• Backend data integration and architecture including dimensional data modeling database design data warehousing ETL development and performance tuning
• Frontend reporting and analytics platforms including OLAP cube design tabular data modeling Performance Point Power Pivot Power View Power BI Report and Dashboard development
• Extremely strong SQL skills

Power On with Power BI

• Candidate should be able to Use the platform to plan forecast and analyze data
• Candidate should be able to Edit data in dashboards reports or apps
• Candidate should be able to Save changes to the underlying data repository
• Candidate should be able to Use the platform to experiment with planning scenarios
• Candidate should be able to Use the platform to add comments remarks or annotations to data points
• Candidate should be able to Use the platform to create statistical operational or financial metrics
• Candidate should be able to Use the platform to create actual forecast and planning data in the same matrix
• Candidate should be able to Use the platform to adjust numbers with a mouse or touch screen

Snowflake

• Mastery of SQL especially within cloudbased data warehouses like Snowflake Experience on Snowflake with data architecture design analytics and Development
• Detailed knowledge and handson working experience in  SnowProc SnowSql
• Ability to write Snow Procedures in preferable language to handle data transformations
• Strong development background having 23 years of rich handson development experience in snowflake
• Strong Hands on experience on IICS with Data Extraction transformation and data loading from different sources to snowflake
• Working knowledge of Data engineering best practices Should be willing to work in implementation  support projects Flexible with working timings if required to coordinate with Onsite team”
