Our Utility Client is looking for an  for a 12+month CTH. This will require at least 2 days onsite in Paramus, NJ.
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT Hybrid office work environment, with at least 2 days in the office and additional days
 
The Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) Senior Developer will be primarily responsible for the design, development, and maintaining of technical solutions in Oracle CC&B. The candidate will both have a production support role and will also be supporting related needs for Capital Projects. The candidate will work closely with the functional team to understand the business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver a high quality solution. The candidate is also expected to work in a hybrid model.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain the Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) application.
• Collaborate with the stakeholders, business analysts, and architects to gather and analyze requirements and translate them to technical specifications.
• Write complex queries, PL/SQL code, and Java code to support the application.
• Integrate CC&B with other applications using Inbound Web Services.
• Establish best practices in alignment with relevant industry, regulatory, and technical requirements.
• Performing code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure quality of codes delivered and adhering to best practices.
• Follow standards and document processes, procedures, and technical specifications.
• Provide technical guidance to other developers.
• Proactively monitor services, access, availability, performance, and usage.
• Provide support for production during the day and batch run at night (on-call).
• Provide support for Enterprise Projects and Deployment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle CC&B releases, features, and best practices.
 
Education/Background:
• Minimum Bachelor Degree, Master Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in developing and maintaining Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) application. Knowledge/Skills:
• Strong proficiency in design and development of Oracle CC&B Customizations: Batch, Algorithms, Change Handlers, UI Maps, Scripts, Business Objects, Business Services, and Inbound       Web Services.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Experience in Hibernate Framework, Weblogic Server, and Scripting Languages (Perl/Shell/Ant).
• Knowledge of web services, RESTful APIs, and XML/JSON data formats.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools: Gitlab
• Knowledge of Enterprise Schedulers:
