Role: Oracle PL/SQL Developer
Location: Smithfield, RI (Need Only Nearby States Profiles)
Duration: Contract Position
Job Description:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development and database optimization.
- Strong expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database design.
- Experience with database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle 11g/12c/19c or newer versions.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Hands on with Advanced PL/SQL concepts required
- Experience with Oracle tools such as SQL Developer, TOAD, or Oracle Enterprise Manager.
- Familiarity with data integration tools (ETL) and data migration processes.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
- Strong understanding of database security practices and backup/recovery strategies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
