Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Location: Irving, TX 75063 (Hybrid)

Duration: 6-12 months contract with possible extension

Minimum Experience: 8+ years

PR Range: $60 – 65 $/hr. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Description:

4+ years Oracle PL/SQL development experience in each of the following software programming areas:

Creating and maintaining complex packages, stored procedures, functions, record structures, tables, views, indexes and triggers, Oracle JSON

PL/SQL development, unit testing, code troubleshooting and debugging

High performance query development

Database design

Surrounding team/key projects

Implementing business logic in Oracle DB packages, functions and procedures that supports the development, deployment, and support of large mission critical enterprise applications

Soft skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated individual with strong desire to solve problems through investigative means, strong organizational skills

Ability to work independently and manage one’s time effectively, as well as function effectively and collaboratively within a team

Exercise good judgment and decision-making skills

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for implementing business logic in Oracle DB packages, functions and procedures that supports the development, deployment, and support of large mission critical enterprise Web applications

Involved in all phases of the software lifecycle with an emphasis on database logic implementation and design

Assisting in the design of the application architecture with a focus on scalability, maintainability, security and performance

Following established coding standards and naming conventions

Understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID design principles

Understanding of Restful Web Services (Web API / REST API)

Experience with Git or any other source control system
