Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Oracle Data Conversion Developer to join our team for a 12-month project with Artech. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle data conversion, migration, and integration processes. This is a remote position with a preference for candidates based on the East Coast. As an Oracle Data Conversion Developer, you will be responsible for the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data into Oracle applications, ensuring data integrity and successful conversion from legacy systems to Oracle EBS or Cloud solutions. The candidate should have strong technical and analytical skills with experience in Oracle data conversion tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the data conversion and migration efforts, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and successful transformation.
• Work with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and define data conversion strategies.
• Develop, test, and implement data conversion scripts for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data.
• Work with Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud data models and structures for seamless integration.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure the accuracy and completeness of converted data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any data-related issues during the conversion process.
• Provide support during system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-go-live phases.
• Develop technical documentation and reports related to data conversion processes and outcomes.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as an Oracle Data Conversion Developer, ideally with 5+ years of experience in Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of data conversion processes, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and related database tools for data migration.
• Familiarity with Oracle modules such as Financials, Procurement, Inventory, or other key business areas.
• Experience in data mapping, cleansing, and validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with data conversion tools and platforms, such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or custom scripting for data migration.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
