Job Description: Oracle Data Conversion Coordinator
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite)
Client: Infosys
Experience: 12 years or Above
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Data Conversion Coordinator to join our team for a project with Infosys. The role requires coordination with the Data Migration Partner (Chainsys) and the Implementation Partner (Infosys) to ensure the data conversion track is progressing smoothly. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and removing any obstacles in the data conversion process, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordination & Communication:
o Serve as the primary liaison between the Data Migration Partner (Chainsys) and Implementation Partner (Infosys) to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
o Ensure proper tracking of the data conversion progress, resolving any roadblocks, and escalating issues when necessary.
· Data Conversion Monitoring:
o Oversee the entire data conversion process, ensuring all activities are completed according to the project timeline and requirements.
o Track and report on the status of data conversion tasks, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring alignment with project goals.
· Issue Resolution:
o Proactively identify potential issues and resolve any challenges related to data migration and conversion.
o Work with internal and external teams to ensure effective problem-solving and minimal disruption to the overall process.
· Collaboration with Teams:
o Coordinate efforts between functional teams, technical teams, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth data migration.
o Collaborate with both on-site and offshore teams to meet deadlines and ensure accurate data conversion.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Experience:
o Proven experience in a Functional Project Management or similar role with a strong understanding of data migration and conversion processes.
o Prior experience in data conversion projects involving Oracle applications or similar enterprise systems.
· Technical Skills:
o Strong understanding of data migration entities and the data conversion process, including mapping, validation, and testing.
· Project Management & Coordination:
o Strong ability to monitor and track project progress, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
o Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to handle competing priorities and resolve issues quickly.
· Communication & Stakeholder Management:
o Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with both internal teams and external partners.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure clarity and alignment among all stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with Oracle ERP systems is highly desired.
· Understanding of Agile methodologies is a plus.
· Familiarity with Chainsys or similar data migration platforms would be advantageous.
